When money comes back

Refunds and cancellation

This page says when money comes back and how to ask for it. It is short because the arrangement is simple: one payment, a fixed number of days, no renewal, and no card kept anywhere.

1What you are buying#

A Premium plan is one payment for a fixed term — 31, 92 or 183 days, counted from the moment the payment succeeds. The plans do not all unlock the same things, so check the comparison below before you choose: the table on the plans page is generated from what each plan actually carries.

Nothing renews. There is no auto-debit, no standing instruction and no card stored by this site. When the term ends, the account returns to free and you are not charged again. If you want another term, you buy one.

What each plan includes, and what the free account includes, is set out on the plans page.

2Cancelling#

Because nothing renews, there is nothing to cancel to avoid a future charge. You can stop using Premium and it will end on its own date.

If you would rather the term ended now — for instance because you are closing your account — write and say so. The term is ended and the account reverts to free. Ending a term early is not in itself a refund; whether money comes back is decided by the sections below.

3Refunded in full, without argument#

In each of these the money should not have been taken, or was taken without giving you what it was for.

  • The payment succeeded but Premium was not granted. Tell us and you choose: the term is granted, or the payment is refunded in full. This is the one case where the fault is certainly ours, and it is settled on your terms rather than ours.
  • You were charged twice for the same term. The duplicate is refunded in full and the term stands.
  • You were charged for a plan you did not choose, or an amount other than the price shown on the plans page.
  • Your card or account was used without your permission. Write immediately, and tell your bank as well.

4Changed your mind: seven days#

If you decide within seven days of paying that Premium is not for you, you can have the whole amount back, provided you have not substantially used it. In practice that means you have not sat a full mock test, and have attempted no more than fifty practice questions, since the payment.

Both figures are recorded in your account because the site shows them back to you anyway, so neither of us has to rely on memory. Ask inside the window and under those figures and the refund is made. There is no form, and no reason has to be given.

The threshold is there for a reason worth stating plainly. Everything Premium unlocks is reading and practice, and it can be read quickly. A term that has been used to sit mock tests and work through the question bank has been delivered, and asking for the money back afterwards is asking for the material for nothing.

5After that#

Past seven days, or past those figures, a term is not refundable as a matter of course, because it was delivered. Two exceptions stand, and both are ours to honour rather than yours to argue for.

  • If the site was unusable for a long stretch of your term — not a few minutes of maintenance, but days — the term is extended by at least as long as it was out, or refunded in proportion if you would rather not wait.
  • If the exam you bought the plan for is postponed past the end of your term, the term is extended to cover the new date at no charge. Both Boards have postponed before, and nobody should pay twice because a date moved.

6What a refund is not for#

Not qualifying is not a ground for a refund. Nothing on this site promises a result, the qualifying mark and selection belong to the Boards, and a plan buys practice rather than an outcome.

Nor is a change to the free account. The syllabus, the exam pattern and the official updates are free and will stay free, and what Premium adds is set out before you pay.

7How to ask, and how long it takes#

Write from the email address the account uses, and include the payment id from your receipt, or the date and the amount. That is enough to find the payment. Nothing else is needed — never send a card number, a CVV, an OTP or a password in an email, and nobody here will ask you for one.

You get a reply within three working days. A refund we agree is sent to the payment provider within five working days of that, and it is returned to the same card, account or UPI handle it came from; it cannot be sent anywhere else. How long it then takes to appear is the bank’s timing rather than ours, and five to seven working days is usual.

If you think a payment was wrong, write before asking your bank to reverse it. A chargeback takes weeks and tells us nothing; an email is usually settled the same week.

8If you are not satisfied#

Birbal Nag, who founded and owns EaglesDigiTech, is the grievance officer for this site and answers these himself at the address above. A complaint is acknowledged within 48 hours and settled within one month.

If it is still unresolved after that, you keep every right the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 gives you, including the right to go to the consumer forum where you live or work. Nothing on this page reduces that.

The rest of the arrangement is in the terms of use, and what is done with payment data is in the privacy policy.
