About Birana TET

Birana TET is a preparation site for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test and the West Bengal Primary and Upper Primary TET. It is built by a small team, and around a single rule: every claim on it should be traceable to the document it came from.

1Who runs this site#

Birana TET is built and run by the EaglesDigiTech team, from Sainthia in Birbhum district, West Bengal. EaglesDigiTech is the banner the team works under and builds other sites under as well; Birbal Nag founded it, owns it, and edits this site.

It is an independent team rather than a large publisher, and the site does not pretend otherwise. Nobody commissions what is written here and no board approves it — which is why the sourcing rule matters as much as it does.

That is worth saying plainly because it sets what you can expect. Work is published when it has been checked rather than on a schedule — nothing goes up until someone other than the person who wrote it has compared it with the source it cites. And when something here is wrong, a named person is answerable for it rather than a support queue.

2What this site is not#

Birana TET is not the West Bengal Board of Primary Education, the West Bengal Central School Service Commission, the Central Board of Secondary Education or the NCTE. It is not affiliated with them, not endorsed by them, and does not speak for them.

Where this site gives a date, an eligibility rule or a syllabus, the Board’s own notification is the authority. If the two ever disagree, the Board is right and we are wrong, and we would like to be told.

3How the syllabus is put together#

Every subject, unit, topic and subtopic is marked either as the Board’s own wording or as our breakdown of it. Boards publish syllabuses at different levels of detail; where a line is broad, we split it so that material and questions can be attached to something specific — and we say that the split is ours, not theirs.

Where a track’s pattern is read from an older paper rather than a current notification, the page says so and carries a provisional marker instead of presenting it as settled.

4How official updates are handled#

Notices, dates and results are published only after a person has compared them against the Board’s own document. Nothing is scraped and posted automatically.

A piece of information is marked verified only when a named person has checked it. "Verified" here never means that software was satisfied.

5Where the questions come from#

Practice questions are written for this site. They are not copied from past papers, and each one is attached to the syllabus heading it tests, so practice can be steered by what you are actually weak at rather than by what happens to be next in a book.

Previous-year papers are a separate thing and are labelled as such: each question is matched to its year and paper before it is listed, and a paper is released only after it has been reviewed.

6What it costs#

The syllabus, the exam pattern and the official updates are free, and will stay free. Premium is about how much you can practise in a given period rather than about locking away information you need to know.

The plans page sets out what each one includes, and says plainly that there is no way to pay yet.

7Getting in touch#

Corrections are the most useful thing you can send. If something here is out of date, mismatched with a notification, or simply wrong, write and say so — and please include the page and what the Board’s document says.
